Fresh flowers

Regarding fresh flowers, I will use what is available at market on the day. I will accommodate your style and color as much as possible. If you like specific flowers, multicolors, or a particular color, this may incur extra charges and require advance notice of more than 4 weeks. To ensure the flowers are fresh, we recommend you pick up the cake the same day of the event. The flowers can stay overnight in the fridge but please let me know if you are going to do this. Some flowers such as the edible flowers will dry out very fast so it is not recommended to keep overnight.

Fresh flowers look amazing on most cake types. We can either coordinate with your florist to make sure they provide us with the amount it will be needed or we can order flowers from a local florist we regularly work with. Flowers will clean, wire, tape and arrange them on the cake either at the baker's (which is preferable) or at the venue on the day of your event.

Where is your ingredients come from?

3. Other useful tips

Things you need to know when picking up.

We suggest the person who places the order for the cake or items attends on the pick up day in person. This is so that you can check the order to make sure that you are happy with the items and that there are no issues before they leave. Or you are recommended to give details instructions to the person who represent you to pick up the cake.

If there are any issues let the baker know right away and he/she can fix it where possible. It is rare that it happens but please check the cake. We are not responsible for fixing the cake or giving a discount or refund afterwards.

If you have a balance(any unpaid amount) to pay, please make sure to bring cash or possible to using vipps service. We do not accept bank transfers on the same day of the order pickup.

How to transport the cake?

The best way to transport the cake is to have a passenger carry the cake box in the car. Alternatively, keep the cake box on the floor of your car and make sure the air conditioning(cold) is on. Before transporting, please ensure the cake is well refrigerated for at least 2 hours(cake will be hardened and easier for moving around). Some of the larger sized cakes may have to be stacked together at the venue as they are too heavy to transport in one piece so for these, delivery is a must.

**Any damage occurring during transport or mishandling after the cake leaves the baker's address, we may be able to help fix but this is entirely up to the availability. So please be very careful especially for the tall cakes.

How to store cakes and other dessert?

Keep your cake cool, refrigerated and avoid placing it in direct sunlight. I recommend removing your cake from the fridge approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, prior to consumption. It is best served at room temperature but be careful not to leave the cake out for too long on hot summer days.

In winter, if temperatures are below 20 C, it is okay for the cake not to be refrigerated. If you're planning to display the cake longer than 30 minutes to 1 hour, please make sure the venue is air conditioned for summer weather.

Cakes last up to 3-4 days in a fridge, in an air tight container.

Macarons need to be stored in a fridge and can last up to 3-4 days.
